No sleep

Sleep, sleep, sleep. I wish I could sleep. I couldn't keep my eyes open all day and now that I am supposed to be sleeping I can't. Why does this happen to me? I hate being sick, I hate having boogers in my nose, I hate having a headache. And worst of all I hate that I can't sleep, b/c it's not like I will be able to sleep all day tomorrow. No, no, I have to get up at 6:30 a.m. to take care of my little boy. There are no sick days in this job.

Victor was so cute today. He also has a cold. But he is starting to feel better. I tried to be a strong mom, took him out for a walk. But when we came back I could not keep my eyes open. So when Victor saw that I had my eyes closed he would come over and give me kisses. And he didn't crawl away, it's like he knew I was not feeling good. Even when it was time for his naps, he did not cry. He just laid quietly in my arms, then laid quietly in his crib until he fell asleep. Then his Dada came home and took him out. He even took some steps today. Then he wouldn't walk anymore, he decided that a few steps was enough for today. I hope that I feel better tomorrow so I can play with him!!

All Tom and I can talk about sometimes is what a sweet little boy Victor is. He likes to cuddle now, though he will try to tell you he doesn't. But in the mornings he lays between Tom and I and cuddles. Then he jumps up, starts talking, and gives us rasberries, kisses, anything he can think of to get us out of bed. When we put him to bed at night, he no longer cries either. He says goodnight to his toys, gives his Galileo a hug, then sometimes points to the light as if telling us he is ready for bed.

What a sweet little boy.

The New Thinker

Ok, so many of you remember a newsletter, back in the day, that was called "The Thinker". Well it has been a loooong time since any of us have heard from The Great Thinker and sometimes in a fleeting thought we all wonder, "What ever happened to the Thinker?" Anyways, if it ever comes back I have found the new mascot. What do you guys think??!!
