Happy 1st Birthday Victor!!

My sweet little boy was born one year ago today!!



We have survived one whole year!! It is amazing how much life has changed. It is calmer, yet more chaotic, and despite having given up one income, I feel richer, happier, and content. I love my little boy soooo much. He is the best wedding gift we received.





And my, how he has grown! We can't keep "nanas" or milk in the house! He calls everything he likes "nana" and calls every person he loves "mama" or "dada". He is walking everywhere and every chance he gets. He is actually trying to run. He gets soo excited to run outside. The world through his eyes is a big playing field. So many new things to see, feel, touch, smell, eat!! Every animal is a "quack quack" or a "coco". And he LOVES the beach, throwing the sand around, and putting his feet in the water.



His first birthday is a bittersweet moment. I can't wait to continue to learn through his eyes, see him grow, see him understand, see him assert his independence. But I am going to miss my little infant that was completely dependent on me and Tom and with whom I could cuddle with when I wanted to!!


Happy 1st Birthday Victor!!! Mommy and Daddy love you!

We returned to our roots for an afternoon. We showed Victor around UCR. He thought it was pretty cool, but couldn't wait to get out of the blazing sun.
