California vs. Texas

Aaaaaa.....The fresh California air, feel the breeze. California is soooo great!! The beach, the sand...Nothing can be better than this.

But MOOOOOM...I don't want to go back to Texas. You never let me play outside there. It's tooo hot and sticky. Where will I wear my wetsuit too?? You can't surf on the river.... Please let me stay in California!!!

Best Cousins

Family Reunion

So we went on a small vacation finally!! It was for Tom's family reunion. The family reunion was in Bend, Oregon. We had tons of fun. We drove there with "Ma" and "Da" and got to listen to "Route 66" about a million times on the way there and back(it was Victor's #1 request!). Victor would say "Dada more Vroom, Vroom, dada". Then we would play it and King Victor would point to each person in the car and say "Baila dada, Ma baila, Mama baila, Da baila". So we "baila"ed our way to Oregon.

Unfortunately, Tom and I didn't take out the camera until our drive back home. What horrible parents we are!! But we had great adventures, Tom and I got to go white water rafting!! And we took Victor out on a canoe! Victor says we "rowed, rowed, rowed the boat". I personally think that the canoe trip was much scarier than white water rafting!

Here are some pictures of our trip back home. We took the coast home, which Victor now calls "Hawaii". I guess we'll have to take him there next!

Everyday Victor woke up ready to get back in that car!! "Yea, Vroom, Vroom. Mas Vroom, Vroom!"

Tia Fati and Tio Heath were gracious enough to allow us to stay at their summer home in San Simeon. Thanks guys!! Maybe next time you'll let us swim in your gold covered pool!

Victor and Andrew

Well Victor has a hard time with his cousin Andrew. He isn't too sure about his cousin, since he has to share the attention and his toys with him. But I think he is finally starting to warm up to the idea that having a cousin may not be so bad after all!! Victor gave Andrew a ride on the backseat of his car and I think they might have had fun!
