Here are some pictures of Victor with his friends at the beach. For whatever reason, only his girlfriends were able to make it that day!! Then cousin Andrew came to visit the next day. They had a blast!! Andrew was EXHAUSTED by the end of the day!!! He doesn't get to do things like this in Del Rio, TX! We are hoping to one day rent our own cottage, for the time being, we visit Ma and Da while they are there!

Has it been that long??

Wow, I just realized that it has been over a month since I last posted something! We weren't even as busy in August as we were in July! I will try to be better about blogging, however there is something about having 2 crazy little boys around, that doesn't allow for blog time!

Tom is on vacation right now. We are spending our days at the beach with Grandma and Grandpa. Victor is loving it!! One thing we have definitely learned is that he NEEDS his naps. Otherwise he needs to be in bed by 6 p.m. He was having so much fun today that we didn't make him take his nap. By about 5 p.m. he was just besides himself. We couldn't say anything to him without him having a fit!! Even as I gave him a shower he cried, "I am calming down, I don't want to go hoooooooommmmmmeeeeee". I couldn't help but laugh, which made him cry harder! Finally we put him and Jonas in the stroller and took them for a walk with Uncle Scott and Aunt Janine. Victor was asleep in minutes, it took Jonas a bit longer but he also took a little nap. Unfortunately, Victor did not wake up happy and we ended up at home by 6 p.m. Victor was in bed by 6:45 p.m. I can only pray he does not wake up at 4 a.m. ready to start the day!

I am very excited, I get to go see Wicked on Tuesday night!! It will be my first time out without my boys in awhile!! I am soooo looking forward to it!! I'm only hoping that I don't have to get up early the next day! (I think I see a sleeping theme emerging here!) That's the thing about going out when you have kids, regardless of what you do, THEY will get up at the same time or EARLIER on the days you wish you could sleep just a little bit longer...I can't wait until they want to stay in bed all day, maybe I will do the same!! :) (I am sure I will live to regret those words one day!)

In the meantime, I am a walking zombie. I do things I would have never thought I would do before. I find shortcuts for everything. I nod my head and say "yes" even if I haven't heard the question. You want me to do .... ok sure... Wait what did she say to me? What did I just agree to do. Oh crap.
