Bates Nut Farm

The Allen's and the Deuel's made the trek to Bates Nut Farm.  This was the first time that Tom had attended with us.  During Halloween time, Bates Nut Farm has a pumpkin patch, pony rides, petting zoos, hay rides, and of course shopping! :)  

We tried to get a picture of the 3 kids with their costumes on, but it was so hot that the kids were having none of it!!  Well Victor did pose for us, but Jonas and Lucia were letting us know they were NOT happy!  The kids had a blast at Bates.  They were all behaving so well, that we decided to head to the Wild Animal Park for the afternoon.  After all, when would we get to go, during the week, WITH the daddy's, to the WAP again?  The boys napped in the car, despite Victor saying he didn't need one.  When we got to the WAP we let the boys sleep for a little while more.  When we woke Victor up he was MAD.  "I don't want to be here, I want to go to the Wild Animal Park!"  Apparently he thought we were still in the Bates Nut Farm parking lot!!  LOL  We finally convinced him we were at the WAP!  But the day did not end at the WAP, after the WAP we went to Tia Rosa's house for a nice dinner!

We were so exhausted by the end of the night!!  At least Tom and I were.  The boys somehow seemed to keep finding energy to keep going!

Cousins, minus one

Uh oh.  It's that brother look.  Nothing good can come out of that!  Lucia is trying to figure out what is so funny.

Lucia is not sure about Victor and Jonas.  Those two boys are kinda crazy!

Lucia: "That's it! Mom, dad, help me!!!"

Jonas: "What's Lucy's problem?"

Really we are up this time!!

So I think our website works now.  Tom's been working hard trying to get our website up.  We missed MANY important events through the summer.  Most important of all the birth of my beautiful niece Lucia!  So, I have a lot of catching up to do!  Bear with me!  My boys are crazier than ever and so I will do my best to bring to you all their crazy antics!

Blast Off into the 4's

My little boy has turned FOUR!!! Where does the time go. Is this possible, that I have a 4-year-old?? And he says, "Mommy, I can't wait until I am 5." Why??? If I could only learn to teach him and Jonas to LOVE their childhood. Not to be in a hurry to be older than they are! My Victor is a great little boy. He loves his baby cousin Lucy, and has decided to ask God for a baby sister. He loves school and is super tired at the end of the day, but he refuses to admit that he is tired. Funny, he wants to be the first one in bed at the end of school nights!

We celebrated his birthday for about 2 weeks. Which he loved! Although the sun did not shine on the day of his birthday party, the kids didn't care! They had fun anyways. I'm not too sure about the adults though!
